A 17-year veteran of Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law was recently recognized by ONYX Magazine as one of its 2020 Women on the Move honorees.

FAMU Law Director of Alumni Affairs and Development Mildred Graham received her award at a ceremony on Feb. 28 at the Alfond Inn in Winter Park.

ONYX Magazine’s fifth annual Women on the Move (WOTM), with founding member Orlando Health, recognized some of Florida’s most impactful and influential Black women.

“I’m honored to be recognized for the work I am doing to embrace the mission of FAMU Law in our community,” said Graham. “To be recognized with a host of other powerful women who are making a difference here in Central Florida makes it even more special.”

Added Rich Black, ONXY Magazine’s publisher and CEO: “These powerful and innovative achievers are contributors to a thriving economy every day. Our sponsors and other supporters are pivotal to making Women on the Move one of the most prestigious events to recognize women across Florida.
