On July 26, a horse-drawn wagon carrying the body of Rep. John Lewis paused for one minute at the top of the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Ala., the site of the historic 1965 voting rights marches, while family members at right looked on. The civil rights warrior died July 17 at age 80 after a battle against pancreatic cancer.
