Christian Right Evangelicals, get right with God

Christian Right Evangelicals

Christian Right Evangelicals, Donald J. Trump told the world who he is, who he has been in the past, and who he will continue to be in the future when he said: “I and I alone can fix it.”

Jesus asked the disciples: “Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, “Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jermais, or one of the prophets.” He saith unto them, “But whom say ye that I am?” And Simon Peter answered and said, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus answered and said unto them, “Blessed art thou Simon Bar-Jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my father which is in heaven. And I say unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:13-18).

Christian Right Evangelicals, who are you spiritually? Christians walk by faith because faith is what pleases God. Instead, you have revealed yourselves as the biggest gang of hypocrites in the 21st Century, especially by allowing President Trump to destroy the democratic foundation of American society.

Biblical wisdom instructs all God-fearing Christians to “Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be a partaker of other men’s sins: Keep thyself pure.” (1 Timothy 5:22). Yet knowing this spiritual principle, you chose to think that you knew more than God, and: “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man.” (Romans 1:22-23).

Donald J. Trump is not God. He cannot spiritually “fix” Donald J. Trump. Hence, Christian Right Evangelicals, get right with God and cease worshipping Trump as a false god.

Your White privilege

Moreover, Christian Right Evangelicals, the Bible rightly declares “Everyone that says ‘Lord, Lord’ does not mean it.” This means YOU. God-fearing Christians understand that they must “beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:1).

Now that you have allowed Donald J. Trump to snatch the covers off of your White privilege-oriented mentality, you stand spiritually naked before the world community because you forgot to remember “The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honor is humility.” (Proverbs 15:33).

Christian Right Evangelicals, America is prayerfully hopeful that you are not void of spiritual humility, and understand “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Christian Right Evangelicals, those of us who profess Jesus Christ as Lord know to take heed, because “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” (Psalm 1:1-2).

In case your memory has slipped into spiritual darkness, let this be a reminder: “Hear, O’ Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all they heart, and with all thy soul, and will all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment, and the second is like, namely this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12: 29-31).

Christian Right Evangelicals, never place your faith and trust in an ungodly individual such as Donald J. Trump, unless you are desirous of hell on earth.

A dictator in hell

Christian Right Evangelicals, beware of your fearless leader’s mentality. It appears as though he would rather be a dictator in hell than a servant of God in heaven. Most Trump voters knew exactly what they were getting because of the statement, “I and I alone can fix it.” The biggest “I” on Planet Earth is the “I” in the middle of “SIN.”

Once President Trump is impeached or indicted, what will you say then? There are sins of omission and commission, and you are guilty of both types of sins against God and America. God has been good to America, and you chose to be better to the “Trumpster” than to God country, yourself, your children, your grandchildren or even future generations of Americans. Shame on you!

Christian Right Evangelicals, “Trumpsters,” and Republican loyalists, God is not fooled nor is He mocked. God has an appointed time: “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2:3).

America, let’s spiritually understand that: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” (Galatians 6:78).

Let us pray

America, let’s pray that we become spiritually wise in choosing leaders in our educational, religious, and political-governmental institutions, and especially for the presidency so that we will never again be deceived by an ungodly egotist. “Evil communication corrupt good manners. Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.” (1 Corinthians 15: 33-35). Let’s strive to remove hatred for fellow Americans from public consciousness.

God is beseeching America and Americans to “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you.” (James 4: 7-8). Hence, never forget that, “A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.” (Psalm 37:16).

  1. God bless you and keep you, Dr. MIlls, for speaking the truth.

My father was an American Baptist minister, and were he still living, he would say the same things. I pray you will be with us a long time, still speaking the truth.
