First Lady Michelle Obama woos, charms, rallies Daytona to vote

First Lady Michelle Obama made a stop at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center this afternoon while campaigning for her husband, President Barrack Obama, who is up for re-election.Obama’s stop in Daytona is part two of today’s three-stop stint in the Sunshine State, which will also take her to Jacksonville and Miami.
The first lady electrified a crowd of five-thousand to get out and vote for President Obama.
She encouraged everyone to vote early as well as to knock on doors and make phone calls to ensure that others vote as well.
Mrs. Obama cited several reasons why her husband should be re-elected including making health care available for everyone, making Pell grants and financial aid available for college students, ending the war in Iraq, killing terrorist leader Osama bin Laden and more.
Several people spoke on stage before the First Lady including singer/actor Mark Anthony who explained, “Take everyone to vote with you. Take your girlfriend, your boyfriend! Hey, you might even meet somebody there! Go VOTE!”
Actress Gabrielle Union, who spoke at the event held in Miami added “We, as women are capable of making our own healthcare decisions!”
Immediately after the rally, many people went to City Island Regional Library in Daytona Beach, one of the early voting sites in Volusia County to cast their ballots.
