Registration deadline nears for Nov. 6 election

Oct. 9 is the deadline for Floridians who want to vote in the Nov. 6 presidential election.

GottaVote.org is a website set up by the Obama-Biden campaign that provides facts on voting, reminders for key dates and deadlines, and alerts on the status of voting rights in Florida.

Residents also should check with their county’s supervisor of elections office for voter registration information.
